What is the latest advice from Australia Post?

Australia Post and Star Track are experiencing delays with deliveries due to reduced staffing in depots and an increase in freight moving through the depots. We advise our customers to order earlier than normal to make sure gifts arrive on time.

We will not be able to refund the cost of Express Delivery if there are delays. Most Express Deliveries will arrive on the next business day, however some will take two or three days longer. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed by 1 pm Sydney time on a weekday will be dispatched from our warehouse on the same day.

Can I track my delivery?

When your order is dispatched, you will receive a dispatch notification email with courier tracking information that will allow you to track the progress of the delivery.

Can I pick up my order?

Due to Covid-19 restrictions we can not offer pick up form or warehouse or any other locations at this point.

Do you offer Same Day Delivery?

Where we can we do offer same day delivery. Most Australian postcodes will receive their hampers via Australia Post.

Standard Delivery – FREE Australia-wide

All Standard Delivery orders are sent with AUSTRALIA POST. Deliveries are generally made during business hours Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), and occasionally out of business hours or on Saturdays to residential addresses. Deliveries to some regional locations may be made to the closest post office.

Express Delivery

Express delivery is a standard $25 via Australia Post

Preferred Date Delivery and Future Delivery

Delivery on your requested day is available at the time of ordering by using the calendar in the cart. Maple & Elm will try our best to have your products delivered on those dates but are subject to Australia post delivery times.

Special Delivery Instructions

Please state in the Delivery Instructions on the check out page if the household at the address is in isolation due to COVID-19. The special delivery instructions field on the checkout page is for specific instructions for the courier that are printed on the label (eg. deliver to the second floor and leave with reception, leave behind the pot plant near the front door). Requests for delivery at a specific time of day will be printed on the label for the courier to see however cannot be guaranteed. Our couriers are unable to call or text recipients prior to delivery, to confirm an address, or upon an unsuccessful delivery

Hospital Deliveries

Most hospitals have specific guidelines regarding the delivery of gifts to patients – it is advisable to contact the specific hospital in advance to find out how their deliveries are received (eg. deliver to loading dock on Smith St, leave with reception in the Lindo Wing off George St). Please provide as much detail as possible about the recipient – bed/room number, ward name/ number, full name and street address of hospital – and ensure that the name on the delivery address matches the name under which the patient is registered at the hospital. Please note that if a parcel needs to be sent to an alternative address due to the patient already being discharged, an applicable redelivery fee will be passed on to the sender.
